How to Make a Link Redirect from a YouTube Video to a Fb Page or Elsewhere
As seen at Youtube – See & Share Video – http://bit.ly/RedirectUTubeLinks
I found that I could use a free Plugin on my WordPress Blog to create a link
redirecting away from Youtube to other sites which can’t be Associated
such as my Fb Page or even an affiliate site – very handy for marketing.
In my Video above …
You’ll see links to Associated Videos, Related Videos & to outside site
I’ve given links to my earlier videos showing how to do those useful things.
To make my Video, I’ve used a favourite one of my selection of Brad Scott’s
Instahook Video Backgrounds – Cool Video Backgrounds
As a matter of interest here is the link I show being created using my
WP Blog Plugin which works in Youtube & redirects to Brad’s site …
It is long because it has to be prefixed with my Blog name
but that is the only way to go through to an unassociated website.

To make this possible you will have to have an Associated Website verified on your Youtube Channel. I’ve made a video showing how to do that which you can see by clicking the link here
& to see how to make a link clickable to a related video, see how that is done by clicking this link here … http://bit.ly/ClickLinksInVideo
These links are only clickable when you’re watching the video on Youtube, otherwise I’ll have a clickable link in the Description Box of the video you’re watching. When you’re at your Channel Dashboard Page, click on Channel. On your Features Page you’ll need to be in good standing & to have External Annotations green you’ll need to have an Associated Website verified. If that’s not already done, see my video as to how to do that.
At my Video Manager Page I’ve selected the video in which I’d like to make a clickable link to my Facebook page. I click Edit. At the Editing Page, I’ve scrolled through the video & found where I’d like to make an image clickable through to my Facebook Page. I’ve clicked on Annotations & now I click Add Anotations & select Spotlight. I move this box to surround the image I’d like to make clickable & I can choose the colour of a border, Red. I then click Link & from the drop down box select Associated Website. I’m at my Blog, Gr8 Social Media Traffic.
It is essential that you have a WordPress blog & in the plugins you’ll need to have installed one called Pretty Link. Click on Add New link. In Target URL, I paste the URL for my Facebook Page. You can choose to put a Target URL to any other site you choose. It could even be an affiliate sales page. In this Pretty Link box I can customize my link to suit. I click Create & copy that to my clipboard. I’ve returned to my Youtube Editing page & am continuing the job.
In this box for the Associated Website, I take from my clipboard the Pretty Link I just created & customized & paste it in here … http://gr8socialmediatraffic.com/SocialMediaTrafficFbPage
I preview the link & I like what I see. I return to my Youtube Editing page for the final touch. I’ll add another Annotation. I’ll select Speech bubble from the drop down box & in here I’ll type words to the effect, Click here to go to my Facebook Page. I’ll move the box over the image. I’ll increase the font size to 16. I’ll enlarge the box to accommodate that. I’ll colour the box red & I’ll change the font colour to white. It is essential to click Apply Changes after each annotation. When the Annotations were made they registered down here. Now it’s a matter of playing the video so that the length of these coincides with the duration of this image.
I’ve moved this red marker along to the point just prior to the image disappearing. I’ve moved each annotation up to meet the marker. I apply the changes & I return to the Video Viewing Page. I’ve played my video until I saw my image appear with the speech bubble above it.
It is live & I’ll click it & expect to go to my Facebook Page. My Social Media Traffic Facebook Page has opened up successfully. I trust this tip will be of use to you too.

THE NAUTICAL ORIGINS of Some Common Expressions ….
Cup of Joe : Navy lore: Josephus Daniels (18 May 1862-15 January 1948)
was appointed Secretary of the Navy by President Woodrow Wilson in 1913.
Among his reforms of the Navy were inaugurating the practice of making
100 Sailors from the Fleet eligible for entrance into the Naval Academy,
the introduction of women into the service,
and the abolishment of the officers’ wine mess.
From that time on, the strongest drink aboard Navy ships could only be coffee
and over the years, a cup of coffee became known as “a cup of Joe”.
