This video tutorial shows you how to use the new Facebook Page Insights reports. Specifically, you will learn about all the changes to five main reports:
Overview: – Get a 7-day snapshot of the most important activity on your Page.
Page Likes: – See net likes over time and where your likes come from.
Page Reach: – See how many people are seeing your posts over time.
Page Posts: – See how people are engaging with your posts.
People: – See how your fans are similar and different from people who see and/or engage with your posts.
About Page Insights
Page admins are interested in understanding if people are engaging with the content they publish. To help them with this, Facebook provides Page admins aggregated anonymous insights about people’s activity on their Page. Facebook users give permission for their Pages activity to be logged for Page Insights in the Information we receive about you section of the Data Use Policy.
There are two types of Facebook insights:
User Insights: Total page Likes, or a number of fans, daily active users, new Likes/Unlikes, Like sources, demographics, page views and unique page views, tab views, external referrers, media consumption.
Interactions Insights: Daily story feedback (post Likes, post comments, per post impressions), daily page activity (mentions, discussions, reviews, wall posts, video posts).
