How to Correct Date, Time & Zone for emails & Screen display

After my laptop crashed & I did a system restore with Recovery Disks, I found that my emails were coming through with yesterday’s date. I’m down here in NZ  & I realized that the Date & Time were that for America – they had been reset by the Recovery Disks.
I went to Control Panel by clicking on Start – found Clock,Language, Region –then  Set Time & Date in this section here. Set the month & day – when I click on Change calendar settings, I can change the format to suit – click Ok. I went to location, clicked it to NZ – here are the choices – click Ok. I saw my time & Date as I like to see it here on the Task Bar at the bottom right of my screen.
